Jamaija Rhoades is a multimedia journalist based in Midlothian, Virginia. She recently graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She is currently a Campus Consortium Reporting Fellow at the Pulitzer Center and an intern with the International Center for Journalists.
As a reporter, Jamaija is committed to using her writing as a tool to highlight and share the experiences of Black and brown communities. She is passionate about using her journalistic skills to not only create a safe space for individuals of African descent, but to ensure that their voices are heard, and their stories are told. Jamaija is passionate about film industry as well. She is determined to become a staff writer for a major publication and continue to use her platform to highlight the stories of members of the Black community.
